Nights in the Gardens of Spain
Joaquín Achúcarro, the internationally renowned Spanish pianist with a vast music career, has played with the world’s most important orchestras and directors, and his repertoire ranges from Mozart to Rachmaninoff, passing through Beethoven, Chopin and Albéniz, among others.
In this concert, Achúcarro gives a striking performance of Falla’s Nights in the Gardens of Spain with the prestigious Berliner Philharmoniker and its conductor Sir Simon Rattle, recorded in the Berliner Philharmonie.
